Education Programs

The Division of Acute Care Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville offers an ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program.

The division is also involved in the department's General Surgery Residency Program and Undergraduate Medical Education elective/clerkship courses for third- and fourth-year medical students.

Students, residents and fellows receive education during daily patient care rounds, weekly didactic conferences and the newly incorporated surgical skills labs which are held in the Simulation Center. The Simulation Center is one of the largest centers in the country with over 24,000 square feet of space for training.
