Education Programs

Pathology ResidentsThe department of pathology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville offers excellent training in three ACGME-accredited graduate medical education programs: a pathology residency, a transfusion medicine fellowship and a cytopathology fellowship. It also offers a non-accredited breast pathology fellowship program.

We also offer medical student education elective/clerkship courses in anatomical and clinical pathology.

For current students, we offer online tutorials and case studies (make a selection on your left, under education resources). For current physicians, we are active participants in UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville's continuing medical education program.

Cell TissueThe department also provides unique breast health education programs for both physicians and the general public. These include:

  • "What Everyone Should Know About Breast Health" - public forum (general public invited)
  • The Annual Multidisciplinary Symposium on Breast Disease - an international scientific program
