University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville highlighted in "MEDSTUDENT NEWS"

University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville was recognized in MEDSTUDENT NEWS, which is a publication of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Kristina Betters, a fourth-year medical student at University of Florida, wrote an article about her rotation experience in the pediatric infectious diseases and immunology division at the Jacksonville campus. Betters wrote about the diverse medical diseases she encountered as well as the superb mentoring on the part of the faculty.

Dr. Ayesha Mirza, assistant professor in the department of pediatrics was recognized by Betters in the article, particularly Dr. Mirza’s passion for the pediatric infectious diseases field and medical education. Mirza also gave suggestions to future medical students interested in pediatric infectious diseases.
