Ramon D. Bautista, M.D., M.B.A., associate professor and associate program director of the neurology residency program at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, received a University of Florida Faculty Enhancement Opportunity (FEO) award for the spring 2011 cycle.

The FEO is for creative and flexible faculty development activities, including, but not limited to educational conferences, work with consultants or experts, time devoted to intensive writing or creative work or activities in support of a new direction for one’s scholarly work.

Dr. Bautista was awarded $4,380 for the enhancement of process improvement strategies, outcomes of quality measures and improving patient satisfaction through attendance at the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE) Three Faces of Quality seminar.
