UF Health Jacksonville’s Level I trauma center received six patients following the mass casualty incident at the Jacksonville Landing. Physicians were able to treat and stabilize all patients immediately upon arrival. Multiple medical teams from TraumaOne and UF Health Jacksonville’s Emergency Department were able to respond and took part in their care. Following treatment, five of the patients were listed in good condition and one in serious condition and their progress continues to be monitored.

TraumaOne, recently recognized by the American College of Surgeons as a nationally-verified center, is the region’s only Level I trauma center and is dedicated to saving patients each and every day.
