Welcome to the fellowship in hematology oncology in the department of medicine's division of hematology and medical oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This three-year program is accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, or ACGME.

The program is designed to provide a quality experience in the broad discipline of hematology oncology so that each fellow will be prepared for either the private practice or an academic career in hematology oncology. We expect this goal to be accomplished through monitored teaching exposure to a wide array of hospital and ambulatory care patient conditions. Standard practices of care, with multidisciplinary approaches, as well as clinical research, are emphasized.

We work closely with the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, which attracts many patients in the Southeast — treating a variety of solid tumors such as brain tumor, head and neck cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic and prostate cancer. Fellows also rotate at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Florida to gain experience in bone marrow transplant, gene therapy, CAR-T therapy and hematologic oncologic disorders from Mayo Clinic experts.

If you would like more detailed information about our program, please explore our site further. If you have additional questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for your interest.
