The University of Florida Health Science Center – Jacksonville's campus provides multispecialty research programs that offer patients the latest in diagnostic and treatment modalities that are cutting edge in basic science, thrombosis and clinical research. The Cardiovascular Research Program within the division of cardiology is comprised of a group of dedicated healthcare professionals whose main goal is to provide higher quality patient care.

Investigator-initiated research is conducted through various stages of development from pre-clinical to post marketing. This research helps determine whether current and or new drugs as well as devices are both safe and effective. Together our team of investigators lead the way for higher quality patient care as they strive to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in our society.
