The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) offers an ongoing faculty development program designed to enhance the expertise and skills of the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville (UFCOM-J) faculty. Seminars and workshops, as well as presentations at division and department meetings, and peer review of teaching are available to faculty. All presentations are livestreamed as well as videotaped for future viewing. Continuing medical education (CME) credit is offered for the seminars and workshops. Please join us and let us know how we can help meet your professional development needs.

The OEA is pleased to announce its Educational Development Certificate program for faculty interested in demonstrating commitment to ongoing improvement of their teaching skills. Faculty who complete the program will receive a certificate of completion that they can add to their educational portfolio for recognition of ongoing professional development in education. This certification will serve as documentation of self-motivated learning for consideration at annual evaluations and during the promotion/tenure process.
