The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville offers clinical rotations in all major disciplines for third- and fourth-year medical students, as well as continuing medical education for practicing physicians. Office of Educational Affairs

The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) is responsible for the management and oversight of graduate medical education at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.

Medical Student Education

Clinical rotations in all major disciplines are provided for medical students from the UF College of Medicine. Third-year rotations are offered to UF students, fourth year elective rotations in are available to students from accredited schools in the U.S. and Canada.

Graduate Medical Education

The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville offers specialty and subspecialty graduate medical education programs that provide outstanding opportunities to learn from top-notch faculty at UF Health Jacksonville.

Faculty Development

The Office of Educational Affairs (OEA) offers an ongoing faculty development curriculum designed to enhance the expertise and skills of the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville faculty.

Continuing Medical Education

The Office of Continuing Medical Education works with UF faculty, clinical, and research departments to identify educational opportunities and to design, implement and evaluate professional development programs.

Simulation Education

The UF Center for Simulation Education and Safety Research (CSESaR) promotes quality patient care, expands patient safety initiatives and enhances multidisciplinary health care, education and teamwork through simulation and goal-directed training.

Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Initiative

Faculty of trainees are expected to have training in quality improvement and patient safety to demonstrate delivery of safe, quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care and by modeling practice-based analysis to improve quality of care and patient safety.
