Research

The Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is active in and supportive of resident research. All residents will participate in at least one research project, either of a clinical or laboratory bench nature. The opportunities available in Jacksonville are so varied that almost any research interest can be pursued. The research elective is supported by federal, state and private funds.
