Welcome to the University of Florida Rainbow Center for Women, Adolescents, Children and Families. The center is the only comprehensive pediatric and family-focused HIV and AIDS program in Northeast Florida. We are located on the third floor of Shands Jacksonville's Clinical Center building and provide primary, secondary and tertiary care for HIV-exposed and infected individuals and families living in North Florida and South Georgia. Beyond basic medical care, the center provides case management, health education, nutritional and mental health counseling. We also work to provide services through collaborations and partnerships with Children's Medical Services in our surrounding area, including Daytona Beach.

In addition, the center has access to national research protocols which, depending on a patient's history and health status, may make him or her eligible to participate in certain clinical studies and trials.

The Rainbow Center is part of the UF College of Medicine Jacksonville. The Center is also an HIV/AIDS education training site for the Florida/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center, which covers the entire northern half of Florida and southern Georgia.

The information contained on these pages is designed to provide a comprehensive view of our center and contact information to answer any additional questions. Thank you for your interest - we hope you find our site both educational and interesting.
