Application Process

For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME benefits, requirements and resources page.

Applications for residency should be submitted through your medical school administration office via Electronic Resident Application Service. ERAS can also be reached via e-mail to myeras@aamc.org, by telephone at (202) 828-0413 or by fax at (202) 828-1125.

The ERAS software will transmit your:

  • Application,
  • Medical school transcript
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Dean's letter

Once we receive your completed application and relevant documentation from ERAS, our Resident Selection Committee will review your materials. Suitable candidates will then be invited for a personal interview.

We accept five new applicants each year.
