We believe that radiology is one of the most diverse and interesting disciplines in medicine and our residency program reflects this excitement. Our department offers a 4 year ACGME-accredited training program in diagnostic radiology. We have a complete learning experience with dedicated instruction in each subspecialty.

Our medical institution's diversity provides extensive clinical experience in all areas of radiology. Our residents are integrated into the workflow pattern so they have a primary position to optimize learning. During the daily routine, senior residents are actively involved in teaching junior residents, clinical residents and radiologic technology students. Additionally, we believe an essential component to foster knowledge is participation in significant research.

We are currently formalizing our education curriculum into a two-year rotating lecture series to ensure ample presentation of learning material. We are also initiating an emergency radiology core teaching module that each first-year radiology resident will complete prior to assuming call responsibilities.

Our department offers the DIRECT Pathway for those applicants who wish to pursue a career in vascular and interventional radiology. This provisional pathway authorized by the American Board of Radiology is an integrated Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Vascular / Interventional Fellowship. For more information about this training pathway, please contact us or visit the Society of Interventional Radiology Web site.

Completion of our residency program provides graduates with the skills and experience necessary to continue into sub-specialty training, private practice or an academic position.

We welcome you to our program's Web site and encourage your search into our residency.
