Faculty & Staff Bios


Carol Motycka, Pharm.D.
Assistant Professor; Assistant Dean, Jacksonville Campus and Director, Jacksonville Campus

Carol Motycka, Pharm.D. became a UF faculty member in July 2002 to help start the University of Florida College of Pharmacy program in Jacksonville. As the assistant dean and director of the Jacksonville campus, she spends her time teaching, counseling and administrating.

She graduated from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy with her Pharm.D. in 1998. Next, she completed a residency in ambulatory care at Florida Hospital in Orlando. Then she worked as a pharmaceutical care coordinator for Florida Hospital in DeLand. During her 3 years at the hospital, she helped develop an asthma and anticoagulation clinic for patients and an ambulatory care rotation for pharmacy students. Aside from educating students through her rotation, she educated pharmacy and medical staff, as well as patients through educational seminars and in-services. Dr. Motycka also served as a faculty member for NOVA Southeastern University College of Pharmacy and Seminole Community College in the College of Allied Health from 1999-2002.


Lisa Inge, Pharm.D., BCPS
Assistant Professor and Assistant Director, Jacksonville Campus

Lisa Inge, Pharm.D. joined the UF faculty as the assistant director of the Jacksonville campus in 2004.

She earned a bachelor's degree in medical technology at the State University of New York Plattsburgh with a 14 month clinical internship component completed at Duke University Medical Center. After practicing at Duke as a clinical microbiologist for a number of years, she completed her doctorate degree in pharmacy. at Campbell University College of Pharmacy in 2000. She then completed an infectious disease residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. After her residency, she worked for Shands Jacksonville as an ambulatory pharmacist with her clinic position in the UF CARES/Rainbow Center, an HIV clinic serving over 900 patients including women and children. After two years she took a grant supported position as the full-time clinical pharmacist in the UF CARES/Rainbow Center while working part-time for the UF College of Pharmacy in Jacksonville as facilitator faculty. In 2004, she took a full-time faculty position in her current position.


Beverly Mayo
Senior Secretary

Beverly Mayo started at the UF campus in Jacksonville in August 2002. As the senior secretary for the college, she is responsible for maintaining student/office files, organizing student groups and shadowing experiences, arranging for classrooms and responding to correspondence. She also keeps budgetary records/processes reimbursement expenditures and coordinates student use of medical equipment. She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor's degree in business management and organization.


Tom Robertson
Coordinator, Student Affairs

As the coordinator for student affairs on UF College of Pharmacy's Jacksonville campus, Tom Robertson works with all areas that impact student success. These include; student organizations, registration, financial aid issues, admissions and recruitment, special programs and events, counseling and advising and student activities.

Tom brings with him over 20 years of administrative experience in student affairs at both the university and college levels. His background includes career services, orientation and retention programs, residence life, academic advising, leadership development and teaching in higher education in Michigan, Mississippi and Florida. He has a bachelor's degree in education from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from Michigan State University and is currently working on a doctorate degree in higher education administration through the University of Florida.
