Subspecialty Training

The following electives are established through the pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty faculty at the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville and Nemours Children's Clinic. These electives offer a unique opportunity for exposure to patients in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings:

Additional electives are available upon approval by the associate dean. Rotations at other accredited institutions are allowed and encouraged in order to broaden the resident's educational experience.

* Indicates core electives as designated by the Pediatric Residency Review Committee of the ACGME. A minimum of four core electives is required to be eligible to take the American Board of Pediatrics certifying examination.
