Thank you for your interest in the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. This collaborative fellowship program provides a robust and diverse experience in caring for adult and pediatric patients with chronic medical conditions. The collaborating partners include Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospitals, and Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital. This ACGME-approved one-year fellowship has two positions: one position with an adult focus and one with a pediatric focus.

The fellowship offers diverse learning experiences in caring for both adult and pediatric patients and their families. The UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville is home to the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute, has unique clinical experiences with a transition program for young adults with chronic medical conditions (JaxHATS), a dedicated clinic for children who are medically complex, and a community hospice (CHNEF) serving more than 1,200 patients a day in the greater Northeast Florida region.

If you are interested in applying to our program, we are now participating through the MATCH program. Information regarding the MATCH cycle for this fellowship can be found at www.nrmp.org.

Thank you again for your interest in our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. For additional information or further inquiries, please contact us.
