The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation provides professional services to the Shands Jacksonville Bone & Joint Institute, serving Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

The department maintains an ACGME-accredited orthopaedic surgery residency training program.
