Dr. Sheikh-Ali publishes in international journal

Mae Sheikh-Ali, M.D., an assistant professor in the department of medicine, and assistant program director of the endocrinology fellowship program at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, has recently published in the journal Nutrition.

The published study centered on hyperglycemia-induced endothelial cell dysfunction in vascular disease occurring due to increased oxidative stress and a concomitant increase in endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress.
