Poison information center director elected to AAPCC board

Jay Schauben, PharmD, director of the Florida/USVI Poison Information Center – Jacksonville and courtesy professor, department of emergency medicine at University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville has been elected as a 2009 at-large board member for the American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC).
The AAPCC is a non-profit, national organization founded in 1958. AAPCC represents the poison control centers of the United States and the interests of poison prevention and treatment of poisoning.
