Dean receives FMA’s highest award

Robert C. Nuss, M.D., dean of the UF College of Medicine-Jacksonville regional campus and associate vice president for health affairs receives the Florida Medical Association (FMA) highest award. The FMA’s Certificate of Merit was presented at the 2009 Annual Meeting, during the Opening Session of the House of Delegates, on Saturday, July 25, 2009 in Boca Raton, Fl.
The Certificate of Merit selections are made by the FMA Board of Governors from members who have performed excellent and outstanding service over a period of years to the association, to the medical profession and to the public.
Founded in 1874, the FMA is a professional association dedicated to the service and assistance of Doctors of Medicine and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida.
