Research
Residents are exposed to research and issues surrounding interpretation of research papers, research study design and grant writing through the departmental journal conference, grand rounds and other educational forums, including a research colloquim course during PGY-3 and resident seminars focusing on Institutional Research Board (IRB) issues. During the residency training, each resident is expected to participate in at least one research project, which will be presented at the annual UF HSCJ Resident Research Day. Typically, this event is held in the spring of each academic year. Faculty provide research mentorship to residents throughout their training.
