Chief Medical Residents

The Chief Medical Residents (CMR) represent our strongest resident leaders and are chosen 18 months in advance. The position is an honor and our current CMRs are Drs. Andrew Darlington and Nimish Naik. They bring professional qualities to the position of CMR and are a great resource to the residents and to the program leadership.

Andrew Darlington, D.O.

Andrew T. Darlington, D. O.

Dr. Darlington is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A strong leader and role model, Andy was the recipient of the Edward Jelks Outstanding Resident Clinician Award in 2009. After the completion of his year as CMR, Andy will begin fellowship training in cardiology at UFCOM-Jacksonville in July 2010.




Nimish Naik, M.D.

Nimish S. Naik, M.D.

Dr. Naik is a graduate of the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He is recognized for his administrative and teaching skills. Nimish was honored as the ACP Resident of the Year in 2009. After the completion of his year as CMR, Nimish will begin fellowship training in nephrology at the University of Pittsburgh in July 2010.
