Patient Care

Services

  • Peritoneal Dialysis - The UF Jacksonville Peritoneal Dialysis Program is one of the largest single-center peritoneal dialysis programs in Florida. Our nephrologists have experience in peritoneal catheter placement using the peritoneoscopy technique, which improves the quality of a patient's care.

  • Hemodialysis - In addition to running one of the largest hemodialysis units in North Florida, our division has an Interventional Nephrology Program. This program involves diagnosing vascular access stenosis and/or thrombosis and performing angiography, angioplasty and thrombolysis for stenosed/thrombosed grafts.

  • Hypertension - The UF Jacksonville Hypertension Clinic provides care for the difficult to control hypertension, secondary hypertension, genetic, metabolic and endocrine hypertension and is developing clinical and research leadership in novel areas of hypertension, particularly in the epithelial sodium channel dependent hypertension and apparent mineralocorticoid excess syndrome.
