Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville

Curriculum & Rotations

The first year of the program is designed to introduce the fellow to the management of medical oncology patients, the development of procedural skills, and the initiation of a research project.

The second year of the program continues these goals and adds three months of electives designed to give the fellow further in-depth knowledge of specific areas necessary to the development of competency as a sub specialist in Medical Oncology.

The fellowship training program is divided into monthly rotations spent at Shands Jacksonville, the principle teaching hospital, and Baptist Medical Center, located in downtown Jacksonville. Electives and research projects are also available at both sites.
