Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville

Application & Selection Process

The fellowship program includes a total of 3 positions.

Applications for fellowship must be submitted through ERAS.

For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME benefits, requirements and resources page.

Applicants may be considered for admission to the fellowship if they:

  1. Have successfully completed, or will have successfully completed by the date of matriculation, an ACGME-accredited three year residency in internal medicine.

  2. Can document they are ABIM certifying board examination eligible, or are ABIM-IM board certified.

  3. Have the recommendation (written) of their residency training program director for admission to the fellowship program.

  4. Submit a complete and accurate set of application materials (see ERAS Web site for more detail).

  5. Complete a personal interview at the UF College of Medicine - Jacksonville with the program director and faculty interviewers.

  6. Qualify according to the prevailing policies and procedures set forth by the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville Office of Educational Affairs and Shands Jacksonville.
