Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Program at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville

Goals & Objectives

Our program is committed to providing the fellows with an optimal environment to learn clinical EP, both in and out of the laboratory.

CCEP fellows evaluate patients with acute atrial or ventricular arrhythmias or bradycardia, and heart failure patients with devices and atrial or ventricular arrhythmias. Fellows perform invasive EP studies, ablative procedures, pacemaker, defibrillator, and heart failure device implantation. In addition, fellows also acquire noninvasive experience with device monitoring and follow-up.

Fellow involvement in clinical research is strongly recommended and supported by protected time and faculty mentorship.

Our CCEP program fosters an environment to present and share scientific knowledge and findings with colleagues.
