Division Chief
Welcome to the site for the UF Division of Nephrology and Hypertension located on the metropolitan campus of the UF College of Medicine. The division provides professional services to Northeast Florida at Shands Jacksonville, a 696-bed tertiary care teaching hospital. Our professional activities include:

  • The provision of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
  • An outpatient clinic for the diagnosis and therapy of all forms of kidney disease
  • A hypertension clinic specializing in the treatment of complex and difficult-to-control hypertension
  • Medical education for residents, fellows, UF medical students and practicing physicians
  • Clinical research programs in the field of nephrology and hypertension
