Application Process

For specific eligibility requirements, please refer to the GME brochure.

Applicants may be considered for admission to the fellowship if they:

Have successfully completed, or will have successfully completed by the date of matriculation, an ABIM-, ACGME-accredited three-year residency in internal medicine;
Can document they are ABIM certifying board examination eligible, or are ABIM-IM board-certified;
Have the (written) recommendation of their residency training program director for admission to the fellowship program;
Are eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida;
Submit a complete and accurate set of application materials, including required certifications, transcripts, examination scores, and letters of recommendation;
Complete a personal interview at UFHSCJ with the program director and faculty interviewers;
