Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics
The University of Florida Health Science Center-Jacksonville is committed to providing all members and prospective members of its campus community with information regarding safety and security data.
The University of Florida Health Science Center-Jacksonville Annual Security and Fire Safety Report* contains the University's security policy statement and crime and fire statistics, as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, a federal law requiring institutions of higher education to collect and release this information.
The report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on the Jacksonville campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University of Florida, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the UFHSC-Jacksonville campus. It also includes institutional policies concerning campus security such as policies regarding alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, sexual assault, the reporting of crimes, and other personal and property safety issues.
