Projects & Initiatives

The Center for Health Equity and Quality Research (CHEQR) brought together research teams to collaborate on many activities on the Jacksonville campus, within the community and the Gainesville campus.

Our research is multidisciplinary, including researchers with expertise in clinical medicine, biostatistics and epidemiology, health services research, social and behavioral research, community-based participatory research and research management and data management capabilities. The vision of CHEQR is to be a unique University-Community collaboration, internationally known for its contribution to applied research in health equity and health disparities. We will achieve that by collaborating with UF Health Jacksonville and Gainesville faculty and community partners to implement cutting edge research.
